One Table Together is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah, dedicated to fostering inclusivity and understanding among students.
We address biases related to race, national origin, disabilities, sexual orientation, and religious practices by creating safe spaces for open dialogue. Our program brings together diverse groups of middle and high school students for family-style meals, led by trained professionals, to encourage meaningful conversations and build stronger, more inclusive communities.
We envision a Utah where every student feels valued and respected, regardless of their background. By expanding our program to schools across the state, we strive to create lasting change through dialogue, empathy, and connection.
Founded by a coalition of citizens, educators, community leaders, business professionals, parents, and religious leaders, including founders Maxine and Marv Turner, One Table Together in partnership with Stand4Kind is committed to making Utah a more welcoming place. After extensive research and discussions, we recognized the need to combat bias and promote understanding within our schools and communities.
